GIS Consulting
We don't just make maps. We make the case.
Esri insider expertise at published prices. Two partners who translate spatial data into decisions, stories, and systems — not just technical outputs.
GIS consulting is broken. You already know this.
Enterprise Esri partners have six-figure minimums and take months to start. Freelancers are cheap but deliver maps without strategic context. And most GIS firms speak in jargon that means nothing to the people who actually make decisions — your board, your funders, your city council.
The result? Organizations spend thousands on Esri licenses and use 10% of the capability. GIS outputs sit in folders nobody opens. Spatial data that should be driving decisions gathers dust because nobody translated it for the audience that matters.
The solution: an Esri insider and a business strategist. Working together.
Diana is a Senior Product Engineer at Esri who builds the products you use every day. Elom has spent a decade building GTM systems at companies like IBM, Uber, and WorldRemit. Together, we deliver GIS work that is technically excellent and designed for the people who need to act on it.

How to Present GIS Data to a Board of Directors
The Presentation Problem You have spent three weeks on a spatial analysis that reveals a clear pattern: infrastructure in the southeast quadrant is deteriorating faster than projected, and without intervention, the city faces $14M in emergency repairs over the next five years. The data is solid. The methodology is sound. The map tells the story […]
What Is the ROI of GIS? A Framework for Measuring Value
The ROI Question That Haunts Every GIS Manager At some point, every GIS program faces this question from leadership: “What are we getting for our GIS investment?” The question usually surfaces during budget season, after a major license renewal, or when a new CFO arrives and audits every technology line item. And most GIS managers […]
StoryMaps vs Static Maps: When to Use What
Two Tools, Different Jobs StoryMaps and static maps both communicate spatial information. But they do it in fundamentally different ways, for different audiences, with different strengths. Choosing wrong means either over-engineering a simple communication need or under-delivering when the situation demands interactivity. The decision framework is straightforward once you understand what each format does well […]
Common questions
How is GeoLever different from a typical GIS consulting firm?
Most GIS firms deliver technical outputs for GIS analysts. We deliver decision-ready materials — StoryMaps, executive dashboards, board-ready visualizations — designed for the people who actually approve budgets and set direction. Two senior partners do the work. No juniors, no handoffs.
Do we need to use Esri products to work with you?
Esri is our primary platform and where our deepest expertise lies. Diana literally builds ArcGIS products at Esri. That said, we work with organizations regardless of their current stack — we can assess your needs and recommend the right tools.
How fast can you deliver?
A standard StoryMap takes 1-3 weeks. Consulting projects run 2-6 weeks depending on scope. We move in days and weeks, not months — because there are two of us doing the work, not a sales team handing off to juniors.
Why do you publish your pricing?
Because nobody else in GIS consulting does, and that is a problem. Organizations waste weeks in discovery calls just to learn a ballpark. We publish our prices so you can evaluate fit before the first conversation.
What if our project does not fit your standard tiers?
Book a discovery call. We scope every engagement individually and can create custom proposals. The tiers are starting points, not rigid packages.
Can you train our internal team?
Yes. Training is included in GeoConsult and GeoPartner engagements. We also offer standalone training sessions for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, StoryMaps, and geodatabase best practices.
